California Transparency in Supply Chains Act
Last updated April 27, 2026.
Nilo Toys is committed to combating slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain. While we are a small family-run business below the threshold that requires disclosure under the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (Senate Bill 657), we voluntarily affirm the following practices:
Our Supply Chain
Our products are designed and assembled in the United States, with hardwood and components sourced primarily from domestic suppliers. We work with a limited number of long-standing suppliers, many of whom we have known personally for years.
Our Commitment
- Direct relationships: We maintain direct relationships with our suppliers and visit their facilities when possible.
- Domestic manufacturing: The majority of our materials are sourced and our products are made in the United States, where labor laws prohibit forced labor and human trafficking.
- Compliance: We expect all suppliers to comply with applicable labor, employment, and human rights laws.
- Reporting: If we become aware of any supplier engaged in slavery or human trafficking, we will terminate that relationship immediately.
Verification and Auditing
As a small business, we do not currently perform third-party audits or formal verification. We rely on our direct supplier relationships, U.S. labor law compliance, and ongoing communication with our partners.
