Quality, Versatility, & Value

The importance of precision is key, which is exactly why we produce Nilo baseplates right here in the USA. Other base plates on the market often do not allow the blocks to “fit snugly” on the baseplates, but the Nilo baseplate does. Plus, you get two functions with just one base plate having Duplo studs on one side and Lego studs on the other. But wait, there’s more to this… Duplo blocks are great for younger children that are working on hand-eye coordination and developing fine motor skills. Lego bricks are the next step, which are a bit more difficult to manipulate due to their smaller size. During the transitional stage from Duplo blocks to Lego bricks, there is no need to buy yet another baseplate to compensate for the change in building bricks. If anything ever breaks, email a photo to support@nilotoys.com. We’ll repair, replace the part, or make it right. Same hands as 1992. Final assembly, finish, and QC happen by the Ernst family workshop, four days a week. The tabletop, finish, foam, and packaging are American. Family-run. Always has been.

I tried both Lego plates and Nilo plates side by side and Nilo’s baseplates are large and work great, hence, I’m back to get more.. Thanks Nilo!

I love these! I got these for my custom building brick table and love how they’re so large. There aren’t as many seams as there would be with the smaller Lego plates.

These work nearly perfect for our play table. We love how the large plates don’t come apart like the smaller 12″ x 12″ plates which make it hard to snap bricks to two plates next to each other.
