★★★★★ “The packaging was wonderful and held up against the shipping company, which that in itself is a feat.” , Connie, verified buyer
A solid hardwood activity table sized for toddlers and smaller play spaces. Designed by the Ernst family, family-run since 1992, with the same accessory ecosystem as our flagship play table.
“You will get your money’s worth!”

This is the smaller-size version of our flagship play table. Same hardwood, same construction, same accessory ecosystem, sized for toddlers and tighter spaces.
Right size for younger kids and smaller rooms. The 24″ x 32″ play surface fits a toddler’s reach and a small play area, an apartment living room, or a grandparent’s spare room. If you want the larger 32″ x 48″ play area for older kids and bigger projects, see the Large Multi-Activity Play Table.
Grows with the child. Default tabletop height is 20″ from the floor, the right height for a toddler standing or sitting on the floor. Swap in a 24″ or 30″ leg kit later and the same table works for an older child, then as a coffee or dining table with the dining topper. Several long-term customers are still using their tables this way decades on.
Four configurations from one frame. Drop in Nilo baseplates and it is a Lego or Duplo table. Pull them out and it is a flat play surface for trains, art, or puzzles. Add the dining topper and it is a coffee or full-size dining table.
Two-sided tabletop. If one side stains or marks up, slide it out, flip it, slide it back in. New surface.
Solid hardwood with a dado joint that sandwiches the tabletop into the frame for added rigidity. L-shaped legs are also solid hardwood, secured with 1/4″ bolts and 6mm corner screws. The frame is assembled, finished, and quality-checked by the Ernst family.
Two-sided melamine surface, recessed 1 1/4″ inside the frame border so blocks, train tracks, and small parts stay on the table. Slide out and flip if one side gets damaged.
20″ from the floor at default. The 1 1/4″ recessed border is calibrated for wooden train track: standard track is 1/2″ thick, leaving 3/4″ of raised border above the track when laid flat. Most other tables use 1/2″ or 2 1/2″ borders, neither of which works for trains.
Solvent-based polyurethane, fully cured before the table ships. Polyurethane is the same finish used on hardwood floors and kitchen tables. Once cured it is inert, holds up to spills and scrubbing, and won’t yellow under direct sunlight. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
The Ernst family has been finishing and assembling Nilo tables by the Ernst family for 34 years. This smaller size uses the same construction as our flagship, scaled down for younger kids and smaller spaces.
Solid hardwood frame, dado joinery, two-sided melamine top, hand-finished by the Ernst family. Same construction as our $329 flagship. Only the play surface is smaller. A typical plastic Lego table runs $50, $150 and lasts one or two kids before the legs split or the baseplate glue lifts. This one stays in service for two or three decades; with the 24″ and 30″ leg kits, the same frame keeps serving as a homework table, then a coffee or dining table after the child has outgrown play. Don’t compare us to plastic. Compare us to the table you eat dinner on.
“If you are on the fence about investing in a NILO, don’t be. It will last! You will get your money’s worth!”

The Nilo activity table becomes a Lego or Duplo table by dropping in our double-sided baseplates. Each baseplate is two-sided. One side is sized for Duplo studs, the other for Lego bricks. Flip the baseplate, switch the build.
Baseplates are removable. Two pounds each. Lift them out to wipe down the tabletop, or set an in-progress build aside on the baseplate and come back to it later. Most plastic Lego tables glue the baseplate down, which means you cannot clean under it and you cannot save a build.
If your child starts with Duplo at age 2 and moves to Lego later, the same baseplates work for both. You do not need to buy separate Lego and Duplo tables.
Pair the activity table with the Nilo dining topper and the same frame becomes a coffee or dining table. The topper has a tongue-and-groove joint to keep spills out of the play surface underneath, and toggle latches to lock the two halves together. Add the 30″ leg upgrade if you want it at full dining height.
This is how customers keep these tables in service for years.
This SKU defaults to the with-holes version. The framing has holes that accept Nilo’s add-on toys: the Slide Hammer ‘N Nails construction set, Nilo-Jax wooden train trestles, Rok-Jax, Fiddlestix, and Brio-Mec.
The without-holes version is a cleaner outer frame. It is the right pick if you do not plan to use the hole-based accessories and prefer a smooth border.
Both versions use the same frame, same tabletop, same hardwood. Choose by accessory plan, not by quality.
The Nilo Graphic Play Mat is sized for the larger flagship play surface and does not fit this smaller table. If the printed road-and-track mat is what you are after, order the Large Multi-Activity Play Table instead.
Same ecosystem as the flagship. Most accessories are cross-compatible:

Designed for ages 2-6. Smaller scale than the Large table. Kids sit comfortably without legs dangling, and adults can still pull up a chair next to them.
Outer footprint is 30″ × 24″. Compact enough for a bedroom, playroom corner, or open kitchen area.
The accessory holes accept Nilo-Nails, peg-style toys, and dowel-based building sets. Loose pieces drop into the recessed vault rather than rolling off the table. If your toddler isn’t into peg toys yet, the no-holes version is a flat play surface.
Damp cloth on the melamine surface. Crayon, food, paint and glue come off easily. Built for daily use.

I purchased the small table with holes for my grandchildren to play with when they visit. They were age 1 and 3 but now are 2 and 4. They both love sitting or standing at the table. Endless hours are spent designing with Leggo’s or Duplo’s. Additionally they use their wooden train sets on the table, and complete puzzles. The table is wonderful for containing toys and arts and crafts projects. The peg holes are terrific for adding “fences” and other creative structures they think of. My grandchildren spend hours at the table and still looks like new. I am so glad I purchased leg extenders so the table can grow with them!

We took our time to find the perfect play table and this is it! Well built. Diplomats mats are great and easy to remove. My kids spend a lot of time at this table. A high quality item that doesn’t look like “kid stuff” in the family room.

This product is of great quality!! I am very happy with this Lego table !!

I purchased this for my grandson’s second birthday. He is now 7 and has a sister that is 5. The hours spent at this table are immeasurable. Besides Legos/Duplos, they use it for trains, cars, Calico Critter houses, tea parties, and so on. I got 3 chairs so there was always an extra for a friend (or stuffed animal) to join them. It was easy to assemble and is the most durable I’ve seen. This is definitely something they will be using with their own children.

I was looking for a replacement for a Brio table, which had holes for pounding in pegs, plus other table top activities. However, the Brio table was no longer made and difficult to find. This turned out to be a fortunate turn of events, as my search led me to the Nilo web site. The N34 table with holes was not only a perfect replacement, but is a far more sturdy and well-built activity table than the original Brio table! My three young grandsons have pounded to their hearts content, and the table is still in great shape. They have also used the table top for various Lego setups. Another great benefit is the availability of the longer leg set, which will be replacing the shorter legs in the next year as the kids are getting taller. Nilo definitely knows their young customers, and has geared their high-quality products to meet every possible need – smooth hard wood, non-toxic finishes, and perfect sizing. Extremely pleased with my purchased!

Approximately 12 years ago, we purchased our NILO table and the storage bin. My 2 older children have long since outgrown it and my youngest is about to outgrow it. Both items still remain in the household, as sturdy as the day they were shipped to us. Both items survived 3 children, their friends, and a few dogs jumping up to steal a snack. The table had many uses- it was an art table, a homework table, a Saturday morning cereal eating table. Of course, the white top has a few stains on it, signs of use after 12 years. However, it did its purpose above and beyond what we intended it to do. The table is in many pictures of my children growing up.
If you are in the fence about investing in a NILO, don’t be- it will last! You will get your money’s worth!

We needed a play table for our grandsons Duplo blocks but only had a small area to put it in. This table was just what we needed. It fits well in the space we had for it and was just the right height.
Nedd –
My 5 year old loves this table and I do too!
William –
Products are very well made. My kids kids will play on these tables.
Lacy –
It’s honestly a lot easier then I thought it would be to put together and sturdier then I thought. My two year old walks all over it and sits on the table to play and it shows no indication he’s even on it. No bend, no give. Just SOLID.

Best Lego Duplo table on the market hands down. My little one has not stopped playing on it since we received our table about a week ago.

I heard about Nilo from a friend of mine and I couldn’t be happier for the recommendation. My daughter plays with her Nilo theasel on the table too all the time. These tables are so versatile in what you can do with them, especially considering all the accessories. Thanks Nilo!

The baseplates on the table are great for all sorts of lego building activities. Lego bricks snap real nice on the boards and the table seems very sturdy. Thinking it will last!
Sophie –
This thing deserves 10 stars. It helps keep all our toys in one area of the house while keeping our little Michael busy in one space by rotating toys out! Best purchase in years..
Liam –
Very good construction, great table, my kids won’t stop playing on it
Lucas –
Love how the storage bin rolls nicely under this table. Makes it easy for my kids to take toys out and put them away. Great for cleanup time!
Gerome –
This table has been an absolute hit! The kids won’t stop playing on it. Now the neighborhood daycare center wants one. Definitely recommend this to anyone with kids!
Teena M Spindler –
We bought both the toddler table and the theasel for our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. She loves putting the magnetic letters on the theasel. It’s so well made and sturdy. The table is just the right size and the most well made kids toy I’ve ever purchased. The table top was cracked during shipment and Nile responded to my email and shipped a new top the same day! Amazing! I am beyond pleased with the quality of the product and the customer service. Now I have to buy some Duplo to use on the Lego/Duplo inserts!
